It didn't take much time to understand that I have deleted my paper ".tex" file using "rm -f" command,by mistake.
This simply means I lost almost 3 weeks of hard work!!!!
The only pale light I can see is a print out of the latest modified version which will help for the text part at least.

i completely sympathize with you. once during my MSc i had similarly deleted my Project Report. :-( the new version that i wrote however turned out to be better. :-) so there's hope for you.
@tuhina: I agree with you,as now I am writing the introduction more carefully...!!
